🎨 What art I have studied/done🎨
ATAR art in high school, GATE art program for all 6 high school years (pretty much was an extra school day every Saturday where we would learn random art mediums like glass work, painting, drawing, sculpting, photoshop etc
I have taught myself digital art and animation over the past 8 years with online tutorials and stuff!
And my mum is an artist so she taught me heaps! Pretty much been drawing all my life :))
Now I do the occasional mural but mostly stoked to be learning to tattoo!
🐡What got me interested in tattooing?🐡
Honestly, for so long I thought it would be too difficult for me to learn or that I wasn’t good enough! Although over time my confidence grew and I began to take art much more seriously by posting it online! I started my own comic series that is still being worked on *slowly* I’ll admit hahaha
However I love to tell stories, tattooing is a great way to do so! I am also passionate about the idea that tattoos can make people feel more comfortable and at home in their own bodies as that is something I’m doing at the moment as well! They can even just be there to look cool and increase peoples confidence! So that’s why I am ecstatic to learn this new medium.
🫐What styles do/would I like to do🫐
I love most tattoo styles, particularly etching/medieval style, cartoonish ones with bold linework, Cottagecore flowers, botanicals are beautiful as well! I am keen to learn as many styles as I can!
⚜️What would you like to ask the artist in a clients position?⚜️
All the standard stuff, sizing, price, placement ideas etc.
Also quality of life/comfort too! For example, does the studio have a bathroom? Pillows? Food places nearby? Stuff like that! Although from an art standpoint I would like to ask about the process and how they come up with the designs.
🪱What do you do when you are not in the studio🪱
Sleep. Just kidding, I also draw a LOT it takes up most of my time! I also love to play cozy video games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Legend of Zelda games and many more! I also watch shows to unwind like Umbrella Academy, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and Avatar The Last Airbender to name a few! I also listen to music pretty much all the time as well! I use it to draw, clean or stare into space fully zoned out 😂
